The National Weather Service in Reno has issued a Wind Advisory...
which is in effect from 10 PM this evening to 12 PM PST
Wednesday.
A cold front moving through the northern and central Sierra
tonight will bring strong gusty winds to the region. Southwest
winds of 20 to 30 mph...with gusts to 55 mph...are possible
overnight. Locally stronger gusts may occur in windprone areas.
Drivers are urged to use caution...especially along north south
routes such as U.S. Highway 395.
A Wind Advisory means that wind gusts of 45 mph are expected.
Winds this strong can make driving difficult...especially for
drivers of high profile vehicles. Use extra caution.
