Hi all!
Just a reminder that the DCART net will be Monday night at 1830L on
the 147.27+ and 441.250+ (both pl 123) repeater. Also, you can now
work with low power in the Minden area on 443.750+ (pl123) as well as
the other frequencies on McClellan.
This week I have a special announcement that you won't want to miss.
The net script (freshly revised) is available at
http://nv.arrl.org/clubs/DCART/netscript.html. This weeks scheduled
net control is Dick Young KD7JMR.
Remember that there is no DCART meeting this month on the 18th. We
will have a regular DCART net instead. Also, the DCART nets schedule
for December 25 and January 1 have been cancelled, for obvious
reasons. Still, when 6:30PM rolls around on those days, you might
turn on the radio anyway and wish your friends and colleagues in
DCART the best of seasons greetings.
We are presenting the contents of the ICS-100 course. Each week we
present a lesson (or part of a lesson) until all of the class
material has been covered. When we have completed the ICS-100
material, those who have participated in all of the net sessions (and
paid attention) should have no trouble passing the on-line ICS-100
test and become certified. After we complete the ICS-100 material, we
will continue with the ICS-200 material.
There are links on the script page that lead to net scripts for past
sessions for those of you who want the reference. Also, there are
links to the FEMA on-line copies of the course material as well as
the final exam.
Note that we have a change to the standard DCART frequencies. In the
event that the W7DI repeater is down during a callup, we will use the
repeater output frequency, 147.27 as our primary simplex channel.
See you on net!
