[CVRC] Minden repeater

Carson Valley hams,

There is a new repeater on the air in Carson Valley, (yes another one). It
operates on 443.750 +, PL 123.

The primary purpose of this repeater is to provide emergency communications
for the Minden, Gardnerville area. In cooperation with Douglas County, it is
located at the Sheriff's office and has the benefit of their emergency
generator.

The repeater should cover most of the valley, but not much beyond. If the
need arised, this repeater should be of use to us locally, while other
repeaters can provide a more regional coverage.

While intended as another tool for emergency communications, THIS IS AN OPEN
REPEATER. All amateurs are welcome and encouraged to use the repeater for
regular amateur use. Any comments on coverage or problems can be refered to
me at kv7s at charter.net
