[CVRC] Elmer Table at EMCOMM 2005

o All EMCOMM attendees:

The Northern Nevada Elmers will host a seller's table
at the
EMCOMM swap meet on May 14, 2005.

This table is where EMCOMM attendees can drop off
their ham-related gear for sale while they attend the
morning sessions.

*  No commission or other selling costs

How to do it:

1.  Bring one or two items to the swap table any time
after 6:00 am on May 14th.

2.  Fill out a 3X5 card with Call / Name / Selling
Price and
basic info for each item.  This card is attached to
the item.

3.  If desired, provide a rock-bottom "ROB ME" price
that
will not be visible to the shoppers.  (You know that
some
folks just love to haggle over the price!) If not, the
buyer
can try to find you on 2-meters.

4.  Receive a "raffle-type" numbered ticket as a
receipt.

5.  We'll try to get your price, and willl haggle over
it if 
you want.

6.  We can call you on 2M simplex or you can come by
between 11:00 and 12:00 to get the money or pick up 
the unsold items.

PLEASE NOTE:

If you would like to donate gear with the proceeds
going
to EMCOMM or the sponsoring clubs, we'd appreciate it.
Please, no Boat Anchors or Junk.

We will be diligent and business-like; however, we
cannot
be financially responsible for your equipment.  If you
need
a guarantee, we suggest you pull up a chair with us or
hire an armed guard for your gear.  ;-)
