[CVRC] New Nevada Section Web Site

August 1, 2005 - The ARRL Nevada Section has a new web site!  It is at 
http://nv.arrl.org/.  This replaces both the "Section News" page in the 
main ARRL web site and the original Nevada web site at 
http://www.pdarrl.org/nevsec/.  These older sites will no longer be updated.

The reason for the new Nevada Section Web site is to provide service to the 
clubs and ARRL members in Nevada.  Items that are too local for the main 
amateur radio media and too regional for individual club newsletters will 
be included.  The Webmaster (Glenn Thomas WB6W <wb6w at arrl.net>) can only 
include the items he has.  If your group is doing something--a class or 
event or club meeting--send Glenn a note beforehand so he can add it to the 
site.  Better yet, if your group has a newsletter, delivered by e-mail or 
snail mail, Glenn would really like to be on your mailing list!  He can be

Glenn has put in a tremendous amount of work building our new site, 
especially when you factor in all of his new duties as Nevada's new 
Affiliated Club Coordinator, but he is always looking for comments or 
suggestions on how to make the site better.
