[CVRC] Help Obtained

I would like to say a sincere “THANK  YOU” for the several responses to my 
query regarding a helping hand for  some  
antenna help for  K7AZ in Reno. I have  many fine memories of the people and 
ham friends I had when I was living there  many years ago. 
But I am  without the proper words to describe my surprise and sincere thanks 
at the  response for a helping hand from the many replies I have had in less 
than 12  hours. 
This is, to me, the true meaning of what this hobby is all about; it is  not 
about the QSLs and the DX and the awards (and I  have been known to  
go a long way to put a  rare one on the air or chase one in the piles). If it 
were not for the  friendships made along the way, it would not likely be 
worth the time and the  money and the passion we put into it. 
Thanks to all involved for posting the request, and the responses. Rex is  a 
gentleman and OT in the best sense, and will no doubt be happy to have the  
help and meet some of the great people who have offered that great, traditional  
Amateur Helping Hand. 
But I wish to send my most sincere thanks for the more than generous  response
s, and I can only say I am sorry I am not nearer to you so that I would  be 
able to thank you in person, and have the pleasure of meeting  you. 
I will try to get the details from Rex’ nephew K6LG, Clare, and reply in  
kind to those who may be in the easiest position to help.   
So thanks to each and every one of you for your kindness, and I express  my 
sincere ‘73’.
