...Another strong early season winter storm possible by next week...

A strong area of low pressure approaching western Alaska is expected
to reach the West Coast by early next week...increasing the risk of
rain and snow for eastern California and western Nevada. At this
time...the best chances for precipitation would be from Monday night
through Tuesday night. Heavy mountain snow and valley rain will be
possible with this system. Precipitation amounts could approach the
totals which occurred with the storm from this past Tuesday and
Wednesday.
