...The Flood Watch for flash flooding continues for

* area of... Waterfall burn area

* until 800 PM PDT this evening...

...Excessive runoff possible in the Waterfall burn area today...

A strong Pacific storm will bring a chance for heavy rain to the
Waterfall fire area today. The burn area received approximately one
inch of rain from storms over the weekend. The ground remains
saturated...and additional heavy rainfall could cause debris flow
and a potential for flash flooding near creeks and drainage areas.

Residents near drainage areas and creeks in the Waterfall area should
be prepared for the possibility of flash floods today. Stay tuned to
media outlets for additional statements from the National Weather
Service.
