...High wind watch remains in effect from noon today until 8 PM
PDT...

Southwest winds of 20 to 35 mph expected by this afternoon with gusts
over 50 mph possible. Gusts over the higher Sierra will exceed 75
mph. Wind speeds should decrease this evening as the cold front
begins to move away from the area.

Motorists planning travel...especially high profile vehicles...should
be prepared for gusty Crosswinds. Areas of blowing dust and sand are
possible and could reduce visibility abruptly.
