Attention all Satern members and interested parties. This is a Satern 
business meeting and as some of you know Roy and I will soon be leaving the 
area. At this meeting you will meet your new Satern Director Vallier 
Tompkins KC7YCX and your new Associate Director Gary Altig N7UVL. We should 
all be there to welcome them to their new positions and I would like to 
personally Congratulate them both. They both bring a lot of experience and 
knowledge to the group and Satern is grateful to them for all they have 
done and  will continue to do for the good of their community.

Agenda :

Old business first:

1. Photo ID's... We have several members who need to have their ID's . This 
is an important part of our operations to be able to do what we do in an 
emergency we have to have proper identification. Definitely a must. This is 
a list of the people who need to be there to get their photos for IDs.

2. Appointment of committee for purchasing the new GPS unit.

New Business:

1. Welcome to the new Director and Associate Director

2. Planning workdays to install a new antenna and simplex radio and then 
doing simplex area testing in Washoe. Fixing the radio in the canteen.

3. Discussion on meeting and net timing.

4. Scheduled Training in the radio room for all members.

5. Appointing training leaders and technicians.

6. Establishing official repeater memoranda of understanding (MOU) with 
local repeater owners.

7. Taking an inventory.

8. Posting notices of nets or pertinent information in the shack.

Your input is important so please make every effort to attend Saturday 
morning. Mark your calendars folks and see you there!!
