SNARS BREAKFAST/MEETING

All are invited to attend the SNARS (Sierra Nevada Amateur Radio Society)
breakfast/meeting this coming Saturday 7:30 AM, September 4 at Denny's in
Sparks.
Take the I 80 E. Freeway turning south on McCarran Blvd.   The address is
205 E. Nugget Ave. Sparks.

Our special guest speaker will be the Reverend Ron Rentner KD7WAW/TG
Missionary to Guatemala.   A new ham, new country and new language to deal
with.

Some earlier e mail I received from KD7WAW/TG:  "We tested simplex and
duplex operation the other day across Guatemala City, and everything
worked perfectly (except that I forgot to show Vonnie (KD7WNY/TG) how to
reset the ICOM to delete the duplex feature for simplex operations)."

This certainly will be an interesting and enjoyable presentation by Ron
KD7WAW/TG you won't want to miss.
