I have the following for sale:
1) Heath HM-2102 VHF (6 & 2 meters) wattmeter, works fine, $25.00
2) Homebrew 5-element 222 yagi (48-inch boom) with store-bought driven
element (K1FO, I think) and insulated through-the-boom 3/16th inch
diameter parasitic elements. It needs a boom/mast bracket since I used
this on a rover with the tail of the vertically polarized yagi slipped
into the front-end of my 2-meter yagi. Worked great! $25.00
3) HyGain TH6DX triband (20/15/10 meter) yagi with BN-86 balun and
documentation for the beam. The beam is assembled and on the ground
behind my garage. I have bought some replacement stainless steel
hardware that was missing on the original HyGain element clamps. Some of
those clamps that were missing were replaced by whoever had the antenna
up last and they used regular stainless hose clamps, which work fine.
The only other missing item is a clamp to attach a wire frm one
side of the Beta match to the driven element...the other clamp is in
place. Overall the TH6DX is in good shape with no rust or damage
evident...although it would be strongly suggested that the buyer replace
the rubber components (trap and element end caps) that are available to
under $27.00 from MFJ/HyGain. I really must sell this antenna and am
reducing the price to $125.00!
4) SCS 2-meter FM/SSB solid state amplifier. 4 watts in gets 25 watts
out. The case and front panel are a little banged up but the amp works
nicely! $25.00
5) Kenwood TR-2500 2-meter HT with "rubber duck" and copy of the manual.
Battery is no good so I cannot test but Merle's widow says he used this
HT so I believe that replacing the battery should get it fully
operational. I've been told by someone who has done it that the battery
pack can be split open and the individual cells replaced...he had it
done at one of the Reno battery stores for just over $10.00. The '2500
has a single frequency CTCSS board that should be set to 123Hz. The
radio is in nice condition. $25.00
Local pickup on the TH6 and 222 yagi is necessary...shipping, at the
buyer's expense, can be arranged on the other items. Payment of Postal
money order preferred.
Items 4 and 5 are part of the few items that remain from the estate of
KD7OJM.
Thanks,
Jack, AE7DX
