...More winter like weather is coming to western Nevada and
northeast California...

An unseasonably cold low pressure system is expected to move into
western Nevada on Thursday.  Gusty winds will develop Wednesday
afternoon as it approaches.  Snow levels will drop Wednesday night
and Thursday and snow could make for difficult driving conditions
over the passes into Friday morning. Around 4-8 inches of snow
is expected in Lake Tahoe area above 7000 feet with 1-3 inches at
lake level by Friday morning.  An inch or less of snow is possible
in the lower valleys of northwest Nevada by Thursday evening.
