Last year one of CVRC's most popular activities was the antenna party
hosted by Norm Pedersen of KB6KQ Antennas in Carson City. Norm showed
everyone how they could build and tune their own two-meter ground plane
antenna using common hardware store materials.

This year Norm has offered to again host a special antenna training
session, this time with emphasis on understanding and designing yagi antennas.

This special event will be held on Saturday, March 22rd at 10:00 a.m. at
Norm Pedersen's QTH, the home of KB6KQ Antennas. Norm is world-known for
his line of VHF antennas and his work in VHF weak-signal operation.

Norm's location is at 70 Arrowhead Drive, Carson City. This is at the north
end of Carson City, about a half-mile east of Highway 395. A map can be
found at http://www.cvrc.net/images/MapKB6KQ.gif

Those of you who have never been to Norm's shop are in for a real treat and
everyone will learn a great deal as we roll up our sleeves and learn more
about antennas!

See you there!
