[CVRC] Saturday Geocaching Party

The first ever NNARS Northern Nevada Geocaching Event is this Saturday,
September 7.  The location for this event will be the Davis Creek County
Park in Washoe Valley.  The event will take place from 9 A.M. to 5 P.M.
Grand prize to be given away is a Magellan hand-held GPS unit.  Many
other prizes will be given away as well.  BBQs will be available for
lunch; bring your own food, charcoal will be provided.

Our use of the park is being sponsored by the Washoe County Office of
Emergency Management as a training exercise.  This will be an
opportunity for ham operators to learn about using GPS for site location
and to educate non-ham geocachers about amateur radio.  A communications
station will be set up at the event including 2m, 70cm, and HF.  Talk-in
frequency for the event will be 147.420.  Please join in this fun and
