[CVRC] UPDATE: Gondola Fire Response

Operations at the Reno Chapter House secured at 2315 hours tonight and will
resume at 0800 in the morning.  A number of you contacted us tonight and
volunteered your services - thank you very much.  Jack, WA2FDK, will be
opening operations in the morning.  We will be calling those who
volunteered tonight to fill in afternoon and evening shifts tomorrow.  It
seems entirely plausible that this incident will extend into Friday and
possibly beyond, so those of you who are in town and off for the holiday
are asked to please help out.  Also, with the inevitable illegal fireworks
and record low dead fuel moistures, there is the possibility that more of
these will pop up.  You can contact the Chapter tomorrow to volunteer by
calling station KE7R on either 147.15+ P.L. 123.0 or 147.21+ P.L. 123.0,
connecting via packet to station K7VY-1 and leaving a message, or calling
the Chapter Communications Desk at 856-1000 ext. 124.
