I just received this message from Patti, Jim Myers wife...

Just a note to let all of you know what has happened as of 2/8/02.  Jim was
taken to the emergency room last night at 5 p.m. and I took him off of life
support around 820pm.  He died very shortly after the removal of life
support.  Jim had what the doctors call "Septic Shock".  It is a bacteria in
the blood that depletes the oxygen to all the vital organs.  They tried
everything but were unable to save him.

His memorial service will be held on Friday, February 15th at 2 p.m. at :
              Walton's Sierra Chapel
              875 W. Second Street
              Reno, NV 89503

I send this with a broken heart and hope all of you will cherish the
memories of Jim.  He was a very special man.
