One of the founding members of the PVRC passed last night, my dear friend
bill who I have known 
When I first got my license and spent many days over his shack learning all
about radio.

It is with great sadness to report, Bill Schuchman, W7YS,
passed away last night at 6:13 p.m. at the Flagstaff Medical Center.
Bill had emergency surgery about a week ago and was recovering from
that at home, but had complications that sent him back to the hospital
at 4 a.m. on Friday. 
Bill was a Ham for over 70 years and has helped well over 100 people
get their amateur radio licenses. His experience and expertise was always
shared with anyone needing help. He set the bar high, and help many
of us become better hams. He will be greatly missed by all of us. 
Services are tenative set for January 6, at Lozano's Mortuary. As soon as I 
receive more information from his son, John, I will pass this along.
Until then, R.I.P. friend.
