Good show to Puck & others. I did a very casual (fun) effort in this one.
95% search & pounce with 200watts. I have a couple of observations ie I was
plesantly supprised at my performance in calling stations especially on 15 &
20 using 200w & wire ants. Secondly, seemed to me that there was
low activity at times in this one. Several times I hung around after my qso
(to see if I'd copied his pwr ok hee-hee) & many times, after fixing a
sandwich or
popping a busch, I grew tired & moved on without the om making anouther qso.
OY3AA on 80 at 0816z was one of these cases that stands out, but there were
many others. Along with the theme of just having fun, I had to go "assisted"
& enjoyed putting out a bunch of spots. I don't enjoy the solitude of the
strict
single op mode. Shame there's no assisted (low power) category. I made a
bunch of band changes, I didn't see anything in the rules about this ?? I
like the ARRL
format of not working Ws, it sure makes for a more clear freq when working
DX. Over & out. Ohh, on 13 hrs.
