[CVCC] KD4HEL's (John Mitchell, Jr.) father passes away

     John, KD4HEL, formerly active in the CVCClost his father  Thursday of a
heart attack.  Services will be held at New Highland Baptist Church, 9200
New Askcake Rd on Monday at 7PM (see today's RTD)  Rosalie and I plan to
attend and invite other CVCC'ers to do the same.  I spoke with John at
length last night and learned that he is still interested in contesting.
His station was setup at his father's place although he divided his time
between John, Sr and Elaine's homes.  John is currently working for a
surveyor (probably not Charlie Taylor...I forgot to ask who)  John, Jr's
father was also a licensed amateur but not currently active.
