[CTSARA] History of SARA

Good Morning to All,

I was looking to see if there was any written history of SARA and 
unfortunately found none so far.  Does anyone have this?

I lived in Springdale and remember working with Joe Leferson on the 
WR1ABR repeater.  I believe that SARA was formed so that the repeater 
could be built.  I remember that there were several of us in the 
original group, but only remember Joe's name at this time. I'd be 
curious to fill in the blanks in my memories.  I left Stamford in 1973, 
just when the repeater was going on the air.
