Hi Everybody!
I AM NOT GOING TO THE DAYTON HAMVENTION! (Sniff... Sniff)
- Instead, on Saturday - May 20, I will be running a Radio Merit Badge for
about 20 Boy Scouts at the Sherman Hoyt Scout Reservation in West Redding.
:)

NEED
A) Afternoon Volunteers: 2 pm - 4 pm
A couple of folks to come and bring GOTA Stations with HF/VHF/UHF
capabilities to give each Scout an opportunity to complete the On-The-Air
conversation requirement.

B) 9 CW Practice Oscillator Straight Keys.
- A loan of any number to build to this total is welcome.

THE PLAN
Morning (9am - 12 noon)
- Classroom Sessions (WA1SFH)

Afternoon (2pm - 4pm)
- 2 HF/VHF/UHF GOTA (Get On The Air) Radio Stations

- 1 CW Activity Station (Led by: Chris - NQ8Z)

GOTA Stations
2 stations will be set up with HF/VHF/UHF capability for the On-The-Air
Conversation requirement.

Each station will conduct 2 sessions (about 1 hour each) with 5 Scouts at
each session

CW Activity Station

Running simultaneously as the GOTA Stations, this activity station will
teach 10 Scouts per session the basics of CW.

PLEASE LET ME KNOW IF YOU CAN Help with either the GOTA Stations, and/or the
CW Practice Oscillator Straight Keys.
