for their superb work yesterday on the Bloomin Metric.  As you already saw,
the event organizers are extremely grateful and have stated that they don't
see how they could make the event happen without us.

There were over 2500 riders in the event.  We MANAGED the field support
operations that provided assistance to just over 70 riders, including three
who wound up being transported to hospitals and over 30 who suffered
breakdowns that required their transport back to the start (not just did
the radio work, but full management of the support operation).  o be driven
back to the start.  Some of our people stayed  (not just did the radio
work, but full management of the support operation).

Both Eric KB1WCO and Terry WA1JBO were entirely new to public service
events and handled their assignments superbly as if they were old hands.
 The veterans of course handled things with their usual skill.
