As most of you are aware, at approximately 10:00 a.m. this morning all of Greenwich lost electrical power when a large electrical transmission line failed.  The failure occurred as the result of damage sustained in yesterday's severe thunderstorm.

These smaller repairs will remain on-going throughout the evening until all customers are restored.  CL&P is estimating a 99% restoration rate within a few hours.
