[CTSARA] Volunteers Needed For Bloomin Metric May 22

OK folks.

Norwalk needs volunteers for their coverage of the Bloomin Metric.

1. We've been asked for help and we should help. It's a matter of SARA  
pride that we should respond to a call for assistance. Period.

2. Beyond that, Norwalk people participate in the Bennett Cancer Center  
ride every year, and they now need us to return the favor.

We all talk about being prepared for emergencies, and participating in a  
public service event is an important way to train. When you wonder "... why  
weren't we called up ..." during an event (like March 2010), just remember  
that nobody's going to call on us if we don't show a level of preparation,  
practice, and participation.

The Bloomin Metric is Sunday May 22. We are needed from about 7am and will  
usually be released by about 2pm.

Please volunteer (contact me) and let's show that SARA can put on a strong  
showing and provide public service.
