[CTSARA] WECA Events Needing Hams

Our neighbors in WECA have a number of public service events coming
up.  They have been very kind to let us use their repeater for the
Bennett Cancer Center ride and I would like to see at least a couple
of us return the favor and participate in their events.

PLUS -- it's a real trip to watch them work.  We can learn a lot.

I've already told them that I'm going to participate in the Golden
Apple Bike Tour.

The first event is the Golden Apple Bike Tour on Sunday, Sept. 4th,
6:30 am in Goldens Bridge, NY.

The second event is The Toughman half Triathlon on Sunday the 11th of
Sept. at 6:30 am for some hans at Croton Pt. Park.

The third event is The MS T-Z Bike tour at Tarrytown on Sept. the 25th
Sunday 6:30 am for some hams.

The fourth event is the Support Connection for Breast & Ovarian Cancer
Support foundation walk on Oct. the 2nd, Sunday at FDR Park in
Yorktown NY. time is 8:00 am.

The fifth event is the American Diabetes Association walk Oct. the
23th Sun. 8:30am at White Plains High School, North st & Bryant ave.

The sixth event is Mamaroneck Turkey Trot on Sunday, Nov. 20th, 9am.
in Mamaroneck, NY - meet at Mc Donald's at 8 am or 9am at the  Harbor
Island Park entrance.

The final event to finish the year is "The Santa Claus Operation" at
Blythdale Children's Hospital Wed. Dec.14th, set up at 5:30 pm and on
the air at 6:30 pm.
