Greetings
Not sure if this sort of thing really goes here, but this gadget's next stop
is Craigslist and after that the dump.
I have here a Princeton Graphics AR3.2T 32" High Definition CRT TV. It has
inputs for Svideo (mini-DIN), Composite (yellow RCA), NTSC tuner (RF) and 2x
D-SUB VGA analog display inputs (DB-15 for computer). It will happily take
a 1024x768 input on the D-Sub, and an adapter box can easily convert
high-def component (red-green-blue RCA plugs) to VGA using something like
this: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B000W7AXVC. I have one of these boxes, not
sure if it works tho, that I'd be willing to part with. Remote control for
the TV is included.
The TV however doesn't power on. I believe the problem is with the power
supply, while it was failing it would flicker and click several times in the
process of turning on (suggesting to me a low voltage somewhere or a failed
electrolytic cap), after which it would then work fine until turned off
This process slowly grew in duration, and now it just does nothing. It can
probably be fixed with relative ease, given some time and a soldering iron.
Other than this problem, it's in excellent condition and up until it failed
I was using it to play PS3 via the afore mentioned converter box.
Should this TV strike your fancy, you are welcome to have it free of charge,
and I will help you load it into your vehicle and unload it at your place if
needed.
