Greetings all...

Over the next several weeks/few months I will be conducting a research
experiment to test a few methods and devices that claim to rejuvenate
lead-acid battery packs.  As such, I will need a lot of test subjects, used
AGM and Gelled 12v lead acid batteries to test.  This will be done as
scientifically as possible, using a West Mountain Radio CBA-II device
(borrowed from Fred, thanks!) to analyze the battery before and after each
stage of treatment.


If you have old or unwanted UPS or radio batteries that don't hold a charge
anymore, I want them!  I will pick them up from wherever they are so you
won't have to lift them.

If you have mid-life batteries that don't work as well as they once did,
perhaps this can rejuvenate them!  Either way I will pick up the batteries
from wherever they are so no work is required on your part.  When the
experiment is finished I will apply whatever the most effective treatment
was found to be and return your battery to you with a full report.

If you are using your battery but want to volunteer it, that's fine too.
Let me know and I'll put you on the list, I will pick up your battery only
when it's slot is up and will keep it for the minimum time necessary.  You
will also get a detailed report of the battery's initial and final capacity.

If you have many batteries, I want them all!  Since each battery is
different, getting accurate results depends on having a large sample group.

Once this experiment is complete, the full results will be published on the
website.
