Don't know. I took my HT down there about a year ago and nobody gave me any trouble. I did tell one of the "ushers" that I was going to use my HT before I used it, but they didn't seem to care.
A number of repeaters, FM stations, and TV stations that have their antennas on the Empire State Building.

How do they feel about hams and their HTs at the Empire State Builder?
Along the same lines, aren't there few ham repeaters, not to mention
broadcast transmitters, at Empire?
