Hi Dave and all,
Although I'm sorry we won't be down at the beach which is much more scenic,
I have to agree that it will be better for creature comforts, catering and
community if we're all at or near the barn. Anyone can certainly walk or
drive down to the beach and as Dave says, a second station can be erected
there if anyone likes. After we've got the station set up, we'll plan to
have a group photo on the pier with the Baltimore Beacon and Sherkin in the
background.
So the plan now is to provide an evening meal of hamburgers for everyone at
about 6pm on Saturday, plus breakfast (it seems the mackerel haven't
arrived yet so maybe it'll be bacon and eggs) and lunch on Sunday. We'll
have tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the weekend but bring
your own snacks or beverages if you have favourites. And, if you don't
like my cooking, there is also the Sibin bar nearby that has great meals at
a reasonable price.
So far I've got the following as coming:
Jeremy 5GM
Dave 9FBB
Megan EI1652
Jack 7HO (Sat only)
Dave 4BZ
Jerry 6BT
Jim 8GS (Sat only)
Brian 5HV
Bernie 6AX (Sat only?)
Hans 9GRB
Declan 9GA
Cormac 4HQ
John 7BA
Please let me know if I've left anyone off this list. I'm not yet sure if
Neely 6CB and John 6CMB will be joining us but we've already got a good
group coming so it should be a great weekend and I don't just mean the
weather. Directions to follow shortly.

Hi All....
Following discussions with some members, I suggest the following:
Welfare facilities be provided in the barn i.e. cooking and dining
facilities and sleeping facilities.
Bring camp bed or inflatable mattress and sleeping bag.
We will provide centralised grub for the two days and the cost should be
around 10 euro per person.
I suggest we house the station in a tent adjacent to the barn for
convenience.
Its 200/250m from the barn to the beach area. Bear in mind the average
age!!!
Anyone wanting to operate a second station could set up at the waters edge.
I will liaise with Tim on the cooking/dining arrangements and we will agree
and execute a shopping list.
Anyone with special food needs, please make contact.
Please bring your own delph and cutlery.
73,
Dave EI4BZ
