I saw this on the FISTS emails, I wonder if they are going to have a 
special edition being the last printing. I'd sorta like to get this one to 
hold on to just like if I dig I can find the 1978 version, which is the 1st 
one with my 1st call KA8FGP



Subject:	[Fists] Radio Amateur Callbook

After over 80 years of continuous publication, the Radio Amateur Callbook
will cease to exist after the winter 2003 issue. I guess the internet has
caused the demise of this piece of ham radio also. The last few issues were 
on CD ROM in an effort to try and cut costs, but with all the "lookup" data 
bases available, it wasn't enuff. The old issues will certainly become even
