Based on some initial picture review, the NBFM module fills the area between
the back of the PTO and the rear of the chassis. Wonder why the trashing of
the chassis area in that area?

Strange.

Subject: [Collins] 75A-3 Question

Weird problem behind PTO: Before I saw this radio I was told the PTO cover
was missing but it is place. According to pictures in the manual, between
the back of the PTO cover and the NBFM socket are two small holes and a
larger hole with a plug. In my receiver this area has been "ripped" out,
for lack of a better word. It's like something was epoxied there and
removal required butchering of the chassis. What else may have happening in
this area? Pictures are available.

Radio has the calibrator and stock mechanical filter but does not have the
NBFM module or 800 cycle filter.

Receiver looks beautiful, has the original cabinet but radio is untested.
Price was right under the circumstances.

Thoughts anyone??

Thanks in advance.
