Subject: {Collins} 75S-3C
Well, after a youth spent drooling over S-Line radios at Radio, Inc. in
Tulsa and not being able to afford the truly absurd prices, I just
purchased my FIRST EVER piece of S-line gear - a 75S-3C. I've been a St.
James Gray person for a long time (all of them), except for a KWM-2A that
came through AF MARS that I had for a while (and sadly, was very
disappointed in). The 75S-3C appears to be completely outfitted with
tubesters in all tube locations.
So, a simple question. Presuming the thing actually works, should I pull
the tubesters and put original tubes in? Or ??????
What do you think? It needs some cleaning up after long term storage, but
I'm really excited about this thing. Even my wife didn't holler at me for
once :)
Thanks . Grant NQ5T
