[Collins] Wanted: KWM-2/2A Power Switch

240 reduces the current but increases the arcing on opening the original
switch.
SS relays for switching AC virtually universally used either a triac or
a pair of SCRs in opposite polarity parallel. If the drive level is low,
they might delay turning on each cycle and become noisy. Otherwise they
should retrigger each zero crossing at a low enough current to not make
much noise.
Ac control should not cause any more noise than DC control. And would be
simple to wire.
