I am in need of replacing a 516F-2 AC Power Cord. A friend of mine has to
do the same for a couple supplies he has too. We are wondering what cords
are being used to do this. We would like to make them as original as
possible, (Gray and round).
Most replacement cords found seem to be made with nbr 18 wire, good for 10
amps. However, I have found a source for a cord made with nbr 16, good for
13 amps, gray and round. Seems to me this would be a better choice, maybe
even the perfect choice as it would give better voltage stability.
We would be interested in finding out what others have done for their
replacements before buying these.
