Then its not a magnetic cartridge. One stage takes volts, good magnetic
cartridges put out millivolts. The diode load puts out a fraction of a
volt, expecting a couple audio stages. I think with the power problem
needing an isolation transformer or a guaranteed ground that its not a
suitable amplifier for your proposed application.
