Greetings to all,
Have just returned from the Belton Ham Fest with a Collins 75S-3B
and 32S-1 that will either be sold to someone wanting a restoration project,
or parted out.
The 75S-3B is dirty, needs some work. It is all there, no extra
holes and should clean up OK. There is a chip on one corner of the meter
and some caps have been changed out. Asking $400 plus packing and shipping
from Houston 77339. All knobs are in good condition, PTO is good, dial
assemble looks good, all crystals are there, coil covers in good condition,
case and trim ring are OK but will probably need re-painting, all slugs and
tuning rack are in good condition.
32S-1 is complete with no extra holes. It is in same general
condition as the 75S-3B, perhaps even in a little better condition. Asking
$400 plus packing and shipping.
If these units do not sell, I will part them out and offer the parts
to the group. I think both units are worth restoring.
