Roger:
Do yourself a favour and replace both of those crystals. Seems to
me that Inrad (Internation Radio) stocks those crystals for the s line
or kwm-2 series.

Subject: [Collins] Off Freq... Need Collins XTAL's

Hello Folks:

I'm looking for the USB XTAL's for my 32S-1 and 75S-1. They are off
frequency and I'm chirping like a bird on transmit.

We have determined that between the xmtr & rcvr radios, one XTAL was
high and the other is low netting a total difference between the 2
XTAL'S of 104 cycles. We tried to put a pot on the crystal in the
transmitter to pull it down to 456.350, but no joy. I would be
interested in hearing from anyone who has had the same problem with an
S-Line.

In the mean time, I'm wanting to hunt down 2 XTAL'S to possibly replace
them in both the xmtr and rcvr with good ones. The LSB XTAL's where also
off, although not as much, so I may also need a pair of them.

They are...

- USB - 456.350 khz - Part No. BL290-8706-000

- LSB - 453.650 khz - Part No. BL290-8705-000

I seem to remember an outfit in Council Bluffs, IA and or Bellvue, NE
that was supplying the Collins Crystals. I'll post this to the Collins
reflector, as well.

Thanks in advance for any help, suggestions or parts you may have.
