I'm not sure what they use. Probably blue Glyptol, maybe red Glyptol
(kind of a terra cotta color), or green lacquer. Many a set screw
anchored in Glyptol has remained anchored despite strong attacks. My dad
and I rewound some generators to alternators and used red Glyptol.
That's really tough stuff that is quite permanent whether on a winding,
a set screw, on skin, or on clothing.
