After 6 or 8 weeks of soaking with Marvel Mystery Oil, my old rotary
switch turns as freely as it needs to. I didn't apply heat, just kept
the ends supplied with oil for a week and then ignored it rotating it
occasionally since. A new (but a bit smelly) tool for the gummed up
radio.
