Replace the black beauties with orange drops. Check the bias on the
output tube to be sure its not low. Consider replacing the electrolytics
and if the bias rectifier is a rectangular block, its selenium and
probably in poor condition. Watch the main tuning for lack of
smoothness, and then use the receiver.
