[Collins] Finally

There's nothing wrong with tooting your horn. My Elmer loaned me his
KWM-2 over 35 years ago when I got my General. I didn't get "my" own
Collins until 5 years ago and I was pretty pumped when I got it.
My advice is to keep it warm and dry and talk to it at least once a day.
Don't let you pets see that it's getting more attention than them. Just
like everything else in life, you take care of it and it will take care
of you. 73s and welcome to finest ownership club in the world.

well, i finally did it.
i finally have secured a deal to own my first piece of collins
gear.
upon delivery, i will be the proud owner of a 75s3 receiver. i know, not
much to toot the horn about in this kind of company, but exciting to me,
none the less.
if anyone has any words of wisdom about this receiver, please
drop me a
line. service updates, things to look for, etc.
the only external blemish is worn paint near the gain control
knob and
the set is in need of a good cleaning.
thanks for listening to me brag.
