Martin brings up some good points. Would nitrogen or argon filled foam
accelerate electron exchange? What about that NASA-developed "memory"
foam that's used on those $3,000 mattresses? Could its utilization help
me remember the other guy's call letters long enough for me to write
them down in my "...damn, where did I put that pen?" logbook.

Styrofoam, I would think, might cheapen filter performance -- but then,
I'm not a techie.

Dr. Jerry might know.
