REPLACE THE SELENIUM RECTIFIER. ITS BAD!!!!! An ohmmeter test isn't
valid until you check the reverse voltage leakage with at least 300
volts. Selenium smoke is not healthy, nor pleasant smelling. Don't
forget to replace the blown resistor in the sick supply.
