Jerry thanks for the info and like you I can remember hanging around my
dad's TV repair shop and going with him to pick up parts at Electronic
Supply a local store in NE Kentucky where I grew up, he would by each
section and put it together to come up with whatever was required.  I can
still recall those blue and white boxes, I think Centre Labs, oh well years
past no such places exist.

 

I had looked on Surplus sales sight but missed the pot, I was looking under
their pages and pages of just pots did not look under their Collins parts.

 

Like you $19 seems high for a pot when you can find them for a buck each,
but to get an original part for a 40 year old plus rig, that is not all bad.

 

I am going to order one and if it last another 40 years, I will feel I got
my money's worth, HI.

 

I bet they get me for $20 shipping?
