I would recommend getting either the 51J3 or better yet the 51J4 (as it 
has a selection of 3 mechanical filters). Whatever you do, DON'T  get 
the 51S1 receiver.  73 from Fern

I do not want to create a circus but since I don't have any experience
with anything other than an S line or a M-2, I'll ask a simple question.
If I wanted to get a general coverage receiver for "SWL'ing" only, what
would you recommend in the entire Collins series?
