I have for sale a military R-388  ser. no 946  all retuned like in the book
with all the bands on Frequency ( no so easy ) with the dial in the center
....it is
very  hot using the latest Factory Mods .It is well known as a much better
AM
receiver for AM communications ...I like it better than a 51J4 .
Also for HI FI  short waves Broadcasting with the selectivity on  wide .
Bandpass ( position 0 ) is not limited by the narrow Mecanical filters like
lin the 51J4 ...a real shortwaves-cruiser...
Now for CW  or SSB the Xal filter is very carefully balanced on all
1-2-3-4  positions.
Now for Ham radio AM you can listen to only one sideband with position 1 , 2
or 3 ......For wide band AM  use position 0  ( no xal filter ) .
Cosmetically " Very Good Condition " Front Panel is very clean almost
like new
All original  with the 2 military original name plates , top and bottom
covers and Guarantee not dead on arrival .
