I see. I don't think my method is either half backed or half done. Therefore, that shuts me out of your choices. Besides, I believe that paint finishes between the "grey line" series was not uniform (at least in texture). I guess it's each to his own. I'll agree on that point. Cal, N6KYR.

Just wanted to know why is it important to get the exact wrinkle finish on these Collins rigs? I redid several cabinets a few years ago using powdercoating and St. James Grey overspray. Finish was fine and I didn't think it took anything away from the rebuild. Besides, I had many complements on the refinish and since I was redoing a virtual junker, I didn't see the point.
