There is a 2 AMP 250V wire lead, glass cartridge fuse in the 6.3 VAC line.
It is located in front of the 6146 shield compartment.
I would check the fuse.

> Second, there is no 6.3 Volt output at the rear RCA connector to
illuminate the meter in the 31B-4 console. No voltage at the wire harness
exit. My eyes are not good enough any more to trace the color coding. Where
does the 6.3 V enter the harness? Does anybody know? I doubt an open wire in
the harness.
