[Collins] 75A4 recovery time mod.

Many years ago, Howard Mills gave the CRA permission to reprint his ten
favorite modifications to every A4 that he reconditions.

In the Collins Journal for October and November of 1995 these modifications
were reprinted, including the K7CMS Improved Slow AVC Response modification.
This mod was described in the October issue.  Has it been that long!!

Had you been a subscriber then, you would have these issues.  However, since
the Collins Journal has been in circulation for now over 10 years, I can
understand how we tend to forget all those excellent articles that appeared
over these many years.

Perhaps, it is time to subscribe to the world's oldest and best Collins
publication.  See the CRA for details.

Gentlemen,

Abt a month ago the filters caps crapped out on my A4.

I ordered the 40/40/40 can from AES (Like a fool ;-) and a whole bunch
of others to replace all the BBOD's and other "deadlies".

Finished up yesterday and all is well, however, while on the bench I
would like to change the recovery time from standby to receive on the
A4.....Which in its current state is maddenly long.

I have done a search and can't find the mod....though I know it has
been mentioned before on the lists.

Would someone be kind enough to post it?
